
Cheerleading/Stunting Classes
Beginner Cheer/Stunt Class (Fall/Spring Session)
Beginner Cheer/Stunt is an introductory-level class that serves as an excellent starting point for individuals interested in cheerleading and stunting. It helps participants build a solid foundation of skills and gain confidence in their abilities while learning how to work well with others. This class aims to teach the fundamentals of cheerleading, including basic cheer motions, jumps, and stunts.
Jr High Cheer/Stunt Class (Fall/Spring Session)
Junior High Cheer/Stunt is a class offered to 5th-7th graders who are interested in learning the basics of cheerleading and stunting in a fun and supportive environment. Our goal is to build confidence within each athlete and support them in learning the fundamental skills of the sport while working together with other athletes. The participants will be introduced to cheer motions, jumps, chants, and level-appropriate stunts while placing emphasis on the safety of the sport.
High School Cheer/Stunt Class (Fall/Spring Session)
High School Cheer/Stunt is a class offered to 8th-12th graders seeking to enhance their knowledge and experience of cheerleading and stunting. Our focus will be on building fundamental skills, fostering a spirited and exciting environment, and encouraging team work. This class is a great opportunity for any athlete seeking to be a part of their school team, as our intention is to fully prepare them for their upcoming tryout.
Advanced/Elite Stunting Class (Fall/Spring Session)
This class is designed for athletes who have mastered foundational stunting skills and are ready to take their technique to the next level. Athletes will work together to focus on elite-level skills such as extended one-leg stunts, twisting transitions, inversions, release moves, and varying dismounts. Proper technique, safety, and strength conditioning will be emphasized as part of this class.
Strength Training/Flexibility Class (Summer Session)
Strength training/flexibility focuses on exercises and techniques that help cheerleaders improve their performance, prevent injuries, and achieve more challenging stunts. The class is structured with specific goals in mind, such as increasing strength, improving flexibility as it is crucial for executing high kicks, jumps, and various stunts, and enhancing core stability. The exercises are tailored to meet the unique demands of cheerleading movements.
Tumbling Classes
All of the classes are categorized by skill level. Options for scheduling will depend on the athlete’s ability. Pick a level that suits their skill and match a day/time according to your convenience. If the athlete is 10 years of age or older and on a beginner level, she will be put into intermediate classes. Feel free to reach out if you have questions or concerns.
Beginner Tumbling Class
Requirement: Must have a round-off.
Description: Classes will consist of round-offs and assisted standing back handsprings.
Intermediate Tumbling Class
Requirement: Must have a round-off transitioning into an unassisted back handspring and an unassisted standing back handspring.
Description: Classes will consist of round-offs into multiple back handsprings along with multiple standing back handsprings.
Advanced Tumbling Class
Requirement: Must have a round-off into 3 unassisted back handsprings and 3 unassisted standing back handsprings.
Description: Classes will consist of tucks, layouts, and fulls along with standing tucks.
